River Glen Equestrian Park is proud to present:

Gallop In The Glen cancelled for 2014

Due to circumstances beyond our control, it is with much regret that we are announcing the cancellation of Gallop in the Glen 2014.  This for 2014 only and Gallop in the Glen 2015 is already a work in progress.

This cancellation is a great disappointment to us as well as many of our exhibitors. Less than 90 days before our show, Tryon International Horse Show filed a petition with USEF asking to hold a show on the same dates as Gallop. While we aggressively denied the request, on August 12th USEF officially informed us Tryon would be allowed to hold a Level B Hunter show with a Level 3 Jumper show.

With only 6 weeks until show date, we simply don’t have enough time to make the adjustments necessary for a successful show.

River Glen retains priority date holder rights to these dates per USEF rules. While Tryon will still run a show next year on these dates, this extra year gives us the time necessary to market the show to a wider demographic.

Thank you so much for your past support.  We hope to see you back in 2015.  Please check in on our website at www.gallopintheglen.net for periodic updates and “Like” us on Facebook for up-to-date info on Gallop in the Glen 2015.

Please feel free to contact us at Ride@GallopInTheGlen.net with any questions, suggestions or comments. Bill Graves can be reached at 865.591.4729; and Rhonda Goble can be reached at 865.621.7336.

Bill Graves and Team!!! Expect nothing less that perfection this year!!!

And we sincerely hope that you will join us this year.....and the next!

We at River Glen Equestrian Park were extremely busy the summer of 2013 giving you what you asked for......NEW WASH RACKS AND A NEW FARRIER/VET AREA

Each wash rack has it's own hose and a set of cross-ties to safely secure your horse. The flooring in concrete with rubber matting. The surrounding area has more gravel to cut down on runoff and mud!

The lean-to structure has been completed in plenty of time as promised!

It's only December 2013 and we're already hard a work making obvious changes to the Prize List and rounding up more sponsorships.

We would love to hear from you, so while we in the process of updating we would appreciate any input you may have to continue to improve Gallop In The Glen and make it the best experience in you show year.....please email us at:

Ride@GallopInTheGlen.net

with any questions or comments. Please be sure to include your current mailing address to ensure we get you a 2013 Prize List promptly.

Additionally, if you have any pictures of "Gallop's Gone-by" that you would like to share please send those as well.....River Glen & Gallop in the Glen would be proud to share these with everyone!
